There are many reasons to rebrand, but ultimately it comes down to wanting to stand out from the competition and attract new customers. When we started Blends, we wanted to provide an accessible and affordable way for businesses to have an online presence. We soon realized we weren’t clearly communicating our values and strengths through our branding and reaching our audience.
We got to work and started a complete rebranding process. Through brainstorming sessions, strategy workshops, and stylescapes we clearly defined our target audience, values, strengths, and our voice. This laid the groundwork for a fully formed brand identity that is consistent, modern, confident, and speaks to the right audience.
Our Process for Rebranding
To create the right brand identity, it is vital to know clearly what your values and strengths are. What can you offer your audience? What added value can you bring to the table? What do you stand for as a company? These are some of the questions you need to ask yourselves. The answers will set you on the path to choosing the right look and feel.
Through strategy workshops and brainstorming sessions, we developed a thorough understanding of our principles and our audience. These formed the guide to crafting stylescapes, an ideal way to try out different design paths to find the right fit.
Once we decided on the look and feel of our product, we started the design phase.
The Brand Identity: Logo Design, Colors, Fonts & more
Designing a new logo is one of the most exciting parts of rebranding. But it’s also one of the most challenging. You want your logo to be immediately recognizable, but you also don’t want it to be too similar to your old logo. And of course, you want it to look good on everything from your website to your business cards.
We crafted a logo that represents the movement of a blender in an abstract way. By using simplified and abstract shapes you increase the flexibility of a logo as it can be easily scaled and recognizable in smaller sizes.
Choosing the right colors for your brand can be tricky. You want something that reflects the personality of your company, but you also need something that will look good across all platforms and mediums. Our target audience is diverse, so we created an equally diverse set of colors that are bright and modern. Paired with a strong font to add confidence to our style.
Brand Messaging & Storytelling
Your brand is your identity. It’s how you communicate who you are and what you do for your customers, prospects, and employees. And it’s one of the most important elements of your business.
That’s why, when we decided to change our brand identity, we knew it was an important decision to make. Our tone of voice is strong and decisive because we value clear communication so that our audience knows exactly who we are and what we do!
We’re excited about our new brand identity and how it will help us stand out and clearly convey our values and beliefs. And we hope you’ll be excited too!
